UK nationwide recovery

If your car can't be fixed by the road or at a local garage within 20 miles of the incident - one of the following 3 options will be arranged:

  • You'll be taken to your intended destination in the UK.
  • A hire car may be provided for 24 hours.
  • Overnight Accommodation - Provision of Bed and Breakfast expenses up to £40 per person and £250 in total.

A message can be sent to someone if you've been delayed as a result of a breakdown.

emergency driver (UK only)

If during your journey the driver suffers injury or illness and can't drive and there is no one else able to drive the vehicle, a driver will be provided to complete the journey to the intended destination.

home recovery

  • If your vehicle has broken down within 1 mile of your home, a mechanic will be sent to try to fix it.
  • If your vehicle can not be made roadworthy arrangements will be made for your vehicle to be taken to a garage to be repaired at your cost.

european roadside assistance

Cover is applicable in all countries belonging to the EU.

  • A mechanic will be provided to try to fix your vehicle at the place of breakdown.
  • If your vehicle can't be fixed - it will be taken to a garage to be repaired at your cost.
  • The labour charges and replacement parts for repairs to secure your vehicle following the attempted theft of the vehicle or it's contents will be covered up to £200.

european onward travel options

If you're vehicle can not be fixed at the place of breakdown one of the following options will be arranged:

  • You'll be taken to your intended destination and then returned to your vehicle once it has been repaired.
  • A hire car will be provided while your vehicle is being repaired up to £70 per day and £500 in total.
  • B&B expenses while your vehicle is being repaired up to £30 per person and £500 in total.
