If your car can't be fixed by the road or at a local garage within 20 miles of the incident - one of the following 3 options will be arranged:

- Overnight Accommodation - Provision of Bed and Breakfast expenses up to £40 per person and £250 in total.

A message can be sent to someone if you've been delayed as a result of a breakdown.
emergency driver (UK only)
If during your journey the driver suffers injury or illness and can't drive and there is no one else able to drive the vehicle, a driver will be provided to complete the journey to the intended destination.
home recovery
- If your vehicle has broken down within 1 mile of your home, a mechanic will be sent to try to fix it.
- If your vehicle can not be made roadworthy arrangements will be made for your vehicle to be taken to a garage to be repaired at your cost.
